Website: Bartholomew St. Community Hub

Welcome to the Bartholomew Street Community Hub. We try to help you get connected, problem solve, listen, share ideas and things - whatever YOU decide you want and need. Our only job is to help you get ahead in a way that is meaningful for you.

We have lots of community organizations that are willing to meet you here, run programs that you want, and assist you with your goals. Let us know who you need to see, talk to and we can help set it up.

We are open to using our space for whatever the community needs - is it a drop-in space, a social hour, a yoga time, a place where you can have a coffee and just relax, a place to use the computer, printer and internet.... you decide.

  •          Financial support for registration, equipment or transportation for children and youth participating             in recreational activities.
  •          Assistance connecting families and/or youth to recreational providers.
  •          Referrals to vital community services or other sources of support.
  •          Support for children, youth or families coping with mental health challenges that hinder                             participation.

  Phone:  613-342-2262

                                                              Website:  llgamh.ca

Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health (LLGAMH), offers mental health services to persons 16 years and over and addictions services to all ages.  The main office is located in Brockville but within Leeds and Grenville counties we also have offices in Kemptville, Prescott, Delta and Gananoque as well as Smiths Falls in Lanark County.  Services include case management, counselling, psychiatry, supportive housing, family and caregiver support and residential addictions treatment.

The funding we receive from United Way Leeds and Grenville (UWLG) is used for social recreation, vocational and wellness programming.  Because of this generosity, our clients are able to attend sports events, organize dances and celebrate the seasons often being entertained by the Slinky B’s, our rock and roll band.  The funding also contributes to our Diabetes clinic,  nutrition classes and outings to the grocery store to learn the intricacies of shopping on a budget.  The camping trip is the event of the year which our clients refer to as their holiday.  Our rural offices also benefit as our case managers travel to provide similar programming and rural clients are offered transportation to attend the Christmas Party or join the Brockville crew on an outing.    All of this programming offers social, economical and wellness benefits to a thankful community.  The reward is the smile on their face as they board a bus, stamp their feet while listening to the Slinky B’s or the feeling of independence when they are paid for a job well done not realizing they are gathering vocational experience.

On behalf of our clients, LLGAMH wishes to thank the United Way Leeds and Grenville and all those who donate to this worthy cause.  Your donations make a difference!
