The Employment & Education Centre (EEC) is a not-for-profit agency that is committed to helping individuals reach their potential through education, employment, volunteering and financial counselling. We are funded primarily through the federal and provincial governments which make it possible to provide our services free of charge.

 

1000 Islands Credit Counseling

Provides financial counseling and crisis relief to clients with credit problems from across Leeds and Grenville. Instructs in lifestyle and cash flow management, debt management and reduction plans, and aims to strengthen awareness and education on credit and financial management.

 

 Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health

This agency supports persons with mental health and/or addictions issues across Lanark, Leeds and Grenville counties.  Services include psychiatry, counselling, case management, client housing supports, long term residential treatment, court services support, life skills training as well as social and recreational programming.  United Way funding supports individuals with social, recreational and wellness programs which is designed to help clients reach their potential and live more fulfilling lives.
